For EACH Puppy, in EACH Litter, we start Socialization from DAY ONE (1) AND we, ALSO, do Early Neurological Stimulation shortly after to Develop High Achieving Puppies (IN Accordance With Carmen L. Battaglia's work). 

 

Puppies Receive: 

Bi-Weekly Deworming, a NeoPar Vaccine @ 6-7 Weeks of age, Seen by a Licensed Veterinarian & Certified Healthy Between 7-8 Weeks of age, an Individual Microchip (Microchip Registration & Special Offer: https://www.luckylittleaussies.dog/so/48NFrBfIk), a Multi-way Vaccine (Usually Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv or Zoetis) @ 8-9 Weeks of age, Nails are trimmed 1-2x before leaving, Bathed & Blow Dried 2-4x before leaving, Wiped Down with Chlorhexidine Frequently to keep Pups Clean & Healthy and are Rubbed down with FOOD GRADE Diatomaceous Earth for Fleas/Ticks 1-2x before leaving.

 

What we DO with ALL of the Puppies:

We perform/do ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), Extensive Socialization, Sound Desensitization, Volhard Personality Testing, Volhard Aptitude Testing, Group Crate Train, Litter Box Train AND Start teaching Bite Aversion/Bite Inhibition (with mouthy pups).

EACH Puppy, from EACH Litter, IS Tested using the Volhard Canine Personality Test AND the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test (Developed by Wendy & Jack Volhard) ON (or Close To) DAY 49 @ 7 Weeks Old (Please, Remember, Drive Scores at a Young Age ARE PRELIMINARY and Aptitude Testing is ONLY a TOOL, Check Out OUR Video to See Aptitude Testing is Not Always Accurate.

Mother Nature does Not work very quickly and Breeding and Pregnancy take Time; we can ONLY Provide Information when we have it and We ARE at the Mercy of God and the Timelines Set by Him. 

 

Timelines such as:
 

Months BETWEEN Heat Cycles, Timing of Heat Cycles, Canine Pregnancy, Whelping & Birth-2 Weeks (the Danger Zone) and Waiting for Families to Choose or Pass come 7+ Weeks Old are Common Timeframes when we simply CANNOT offer more information because we either do not have it or it can change*.  

*We Choose to ONLY give information we are Certain of that is Not expected to change.

AS FAR AS FUTURE LITTERS & YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: 
 

We have a “Notification List” EVERY FAMILY is Added to Automatically Once they APPLY.   

 

HOWEVER, L.L.A does NOT always send out E-Mails right away as Facebook/Instagram are the Quickest & Most Efficient ways for us to Reach our Customers and get Responses (Unfortunately, Many Emails that L.L.A sends to our customers OFTEN go un-read or un-replied to).

Lucky Little Aussies LLC chooses Not to do a traditional “waiting list”.

We Could have a "Waiting list"; We could just accept everyone’s deposits and they could wait depending on their place “in-line” 
...But there are Too many uncontrollable variables and we prefer not to hold onto people's money.

IF we did accept Deposits for Every Approved Applicant, something we believe is WORSE than anything for our puppies is VERY LIKELY to occur, Families could CHOOSE TO SETTLE on a Puppy that does Not 100% match them because they have already placed a deposit & may feel stuck or just do not want to Wait.
We do Not want that..

 

For L.L.A it is about Placing Puppies into FUR-LIFE Homes — We will always Prioritize what is Best for our puppies even if it takes us a year or more to find the right match for a puppy, we would do whatever it takes.

Being a Pet Breeder should NOT be Just about a family wanting a puppy now or a family thinking the puppy is cute (Ignoring or not Knowing the important stuff) or getting puppies as Gifts or for Holidays or anything like that ... Animals are Not "Things", they are Living Beings that will require Commitment for 10-20 YEARS.

God gives us these little lives and entrusts us to Help them find what is BEST for THEM in this world, we will Forever be Responsible to & for Them FIRST ... And OF COURSE we do our Best to Match as many families as we can Properly BUT we are not here "selling Things", we are here Helping Families Grow and Focusing on what is Best for EVERYONE ❤️

What Lucky Little Aussies LLC CHOSE INSTEAD...
 

We do a “Reservation List” where people who are Ready for a Puppy, Proactive & Committed can place a Non-refundable Deposit SEASONALLY.  Their Deposit can be Placed AFTER a SEASONAL Newsletter is Sent Out for Upcoming Litters or Current Litters (if applicable) and the Reservation Request Form OPENS.
Then CHOOSE a Puppy Based on the Energy Level, Personality, Preliminary Drive Scores, Aptitude Testing, Size & Colors they Need/Want that Best Fit Their Family’s Lifestyle Once the Puppies are 7+ Weeks of Age.

The Families Place In-Line is Based on their Reservation Number, a.k.a their PUBLIC Pick Number.

This number will tell them how many puppies they can Choose From out of the Puppies Available to the PUBLIC.

This Number CAN Change; Sometimes, Lucky Little Aussies will Choose to Keep a Puppy or 2 from a Certain Litter to Improve our Program and always Reserve the Right to First PRIVATE Pick.  
IF a family Moves UP on a Litter they will be Notified of their New Public Pick Number/Reservation Number.
 

 

The Families get to watch the puppies grow, Ask Questions & Often even SEE Various Steps of Socialization (Like Puppy Walks in Strollers, Sand Play, Practicing Redirection, etc) for SEVEN WEEKS BEFORE Choosing Their Puppy.

 

The Families will choose based on Photos/Videos, Lucky Little Aussies’ Description of Individual Puppy’s Personality, Energy Level, Estimated Adult Size, Preliminary Drive Scores & Volhard Aptitude Test Results. Also, When Allowed again (Post COVID) IN-PERSON Meet & Greets BUT in the Meantime we offer LIVE Facebook Videos Instead to keep Everyone Safe. ❤️ 

 

HOW LONG IS THE WAIT AFTER APPROVED??
The WAIT Does VARY.

The wait can be as Short as TWO DAYS up to TWELVE MONTHS with MANY VARIABLES.

 

This method allows families to take the Process of Puppy Buying back into their hands by being a system that works FOR Families & what Fits Best for THEM. ❤️

⚠️ L.L.A Cannot Hold Reservation List Spots for Longer than 48 HOURS Without a Deposit Once the Lists are Posted.

⚠️ Once a Puppy is 7+ Weeks of Age we Cannot hold a Puppy for Longer than 2 HOURS Without a Deposit.

Interest Changes Constantly & People Frequently Switch to Different Litters or Seasons, so even IF you are 30th there is Still Some Chance you could choose a Puppy from 1 or 2 of the Litters that Season!

Sometimes a Couple Individual Puppies DO Become Available at 7-10 Weeks Old due to people Choosing to Wait for a Puppy that Fits Them & Their Lifestyle Better or Unexpected Circumstances.  

These Puppies are usually posted to Facebook and Instagram FIRST.

IF You do Not Respond to a notification of an available puppy/spot AND place a deposit you will CONTINUE* to be Notified About ALL Future Litters & Announcements but we will move on to those Next In-Line.

AT FOUR to SEVEN (4-7) WEEKS OLD:

​

NORMALLY, we will have the "1st Puppy Meet & Greet" @ 5-7 Weeks -- This is an OPPORTUNITY for everyone to see, in-person, meet & play with the Puppies but it is NOT a Requirement. DUE to COVID Meet & Greets are LIVE Video (for a Virtual Meet & Greet) until Further Notice.

** DUE to the HOLIDAYS (Between OCTOBER - JANUARY) we will NOT have a 4-6 Week Old, IN-PERSON, Meet & Greet during The Fall-Winter SEASONS. We may Not offer certain Summer Meet & Greets Depending on our Schedule as well.  
We LOVE Meet & Greets and will offer them when we can!

 

HOWEVER, L.L.A WILL do a LIVE VIDEO during those seasons/times in Place of that Meet & Greet! 🥰

SEVEN-EIGHT WEEKS OLD is the STAGE You Can OFFICIALLY Choose Your Puppy!

We have the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test performed on Each Puppy INDIVIDUALLY on DAY 49 @ 7 Weeks Old (Or As Close As Possible to Ensure True Reactions are Not Tainted by Learning).

--> At this Stage LUCKY LITTLE AUSSIES' will Share our Professional Opinion on Individual Energy Levels & Personality of Each Puppy, Preliminary Drive Scores, Aptitude Results and Photos to Help you make an INFORMED Choice when choosing your New Companion for the Next TEN to FIFTEEN (10-15) YEARS Minimum.

We will have a Puppy Pick-Up Day, aka "2nd Puppy Meet & Greet", (Based on Our Schedule) BETWEEN Eight to Nine (8-9) WEEKS OLD.

This is where Everyone can come to PICK-UP their New Puppy, Meet/See the Sire & Dam, US & even Meet/See the Siblings Families.

* Though we Highly Recommend Visiting or Choosing IN-PERSON, there IS an OPTION to Choose Remotely & Pick-Up In-Person or have Your Puppy Delivered or Shipped (at Buyer's Expense)!  
 

 

⚠️ Puppies CANNOT Leave until EIGHT (8) Weeks of Age.

⚠️ We POST Expected Go-Home DATES on Each Litter's Social Media Post BASED on their D.O.B and when we believe the litter is Estimated to be Able to leave on or After 8 Weeks of Age.  
We will do our Best to accommodate Families that are Traveling from far away (like L.A or Out-Of-State) by Possibly Extending our Hours or Offering Different Days (After 8 weeks of Age).

 

Any Puppy Staying Beyond EIGHT (8) Weeks of Age will be Charged a Nightly Boarding Fee UNLESS L.L.A Delays Go-Home OR L.L.A sets up the Go-Home Dates at 9+ Weeks Old.
Pick-Up can Change due to Vaccination Schedule, Veterinarian Recommendations or Other Reasons (Bad Weather, etc).

Please, do not ask if puppies can leave earlier than 8 Weeks of Age. 🥰 ⚠️

At 6-9 Weeks Old Puppies spend 3-6 Hours a Day Outside for SUPERVISED Play & Stimulation (*IF Weather Permits it) & their playpen is moved around frequently from Indoors-Outdoors when Unsupervised!
